How do I send you a photo to restore?
You can upload a file via the contact form below.
How do I scan a picture?
If you are using a scanner, wipe the glass clean and set the picture down on the scanner once the glass is dry. After that, it is important to scan with the following settings:
-Scan in color (even if your photo is black and white)
-Save your file as JPG
- It is important that your file be sent in a high quality setting so you can have the best results and be able to make prints.
- Pictures that are wallet sized (2.5×3.5 or smaller) | Scan at 1200 dpi.
- Pictures that are about 4x6–5×7 | Scan at 600 dpi.
- Pictures that are 5×7 or larger – Scan at 300 dpi.
Can I send you a picture taken with my phone's camera?
Yes. Just make sure that your phone's camera is centered with the print to avoid a distorted perspective. Try taking the picture in a very well lit room (by a window is a good choice) on a flat surface. Your camera's flash can be a good option if the photo isn't too glossy. Also, try to take the picture with only one light source. The color will be inaccurate and more difficult to work with if the photo is taken near a window but the kitchen lights are on, for example.
